The Niche Atlas spreadsheet: 117 niches sorted by opportunity score, each cell colour-coded across demand, monetization, system fit and time-to-revenue, with blue-ocean and competition flags.
The actual file — open it in Excel, Sheets or Notion. Sort, filter, decide.

You've been picking niches the wrong way.

Most niche lists are scraped keyword dumps from 2013, padded with affiliate noise, with no signal on whether the niche pays, automates, or fits a one-person operation. You end up with 1,500 names and zero filters.

✗ Keyword dumps

Lists of 1,000+ "niches" that are really keywords. No score, no filter, no way to choose.

✗ AI-hyped clickbait

"Top 50 AI niches in 2026" articles regurgitating the same five names with no underlying scoring.

✗ Spreadsheet without flags

You finally find a curated list — but no regulatory flags, no anonymity check, no system-fit score for solopreneurs.

What's inside the Atlas

A single CSV file. No app, no login, no monthly fee. Your spreadsheet, forever.

4-dimension scoring

Demand, monetization, system fit, and time-to-revenue — each scored 0–100 from public signals and curated heuristics.

Composite scores

Opportunity score and blue-ocean score pre-computed. Sort by either, find your top 5 in two minutes.

Monetization signal

A 0–100 monetization score per niche, plus tags and audience passion level — so you see at a glance how cleanly it pays.

System-fit breakdown

Five sub-scores: content generability, pipeline automability, setup simplicity, asset leverage, no-physical-presence.

Risk flags

Regulatory risk, capital requirement, anonymity-viable, YMYL — so you don't pick a niche that ends in legal trouble.

Tags + descriptions

Every niche tagged across categories and described in one tight sentence. Filter, group, pivot.

The 117 survivors are each scored on four independent 0–100 axes — demand, monetization, system fit, time-to-revenue — then combined into one opportunity score you can sort. No "curated by AI" hand-wave: you can see every number and check it against your own judgment. Read how the 4-dimension scoring works →

The full Atlas is 117 niches scored and flagged on 4 dimensions (demand, monetization, system fit, time-to-revenue) with risk tags and blue-ocean flags — no blanks. 18 of them add a deeper layer (description, global search volume, CPC, system-fit sub-scores and a pain-point summary; about half of those also include US and Spain regional search splits). You get the ranked map now instead of waiting months for all 117 deep.

Quick questions

What format is the dataset in?

Both .xlsx and .csv (UTF-8): the core Atlas (117 niches × 31 columns) and the deep profiles (18 niches × 16 columns), plus a README. Double-click the .xlsx for instant columns and sortable scores in Excel or Numbers (any language/region); the .csv works in Google Sheets, Airtable, Notion or any database. No proprietary format.

Why can't I just do this myself with Google Trends and Ahrefs?

You can — the raw signals are public. What isn't public is the work on top of them: cross-scoring 1,815 candidates on four independent axes, killing 1,698 false positives, and flagging each survivor for regulatory risk, anonymity and one-person system fit. You'd spend the 40 hours building the methodology before you score a single niche. The Atlas is that methodology, already run. You're paying for the curation, not the data.

Where do the scores come from?

A custom scoring framework combining public demand signals, monetization patterns observed across the niche, system-fit heuristics for one-person operations, and time-to-first-revenue benchmarks. All 117 are scored and flagged in full; 18 are profiled in depth (the bonus file). The remaining 99 are scored and ranked, not yet deep-profiled — you get the map now instead of waiting six months. Scores are analyst heuristics, not guarantees.

Will this be updated?

If a v2 ships within 90 days of your purchase, you'll receive it free. After that, v2 buyers get a discounted upgrade. The dataset isn't a SaaS — it's a snapshot you own.

Why only 117 niches and not 500?

Because 117 niches scored across 4 dimensions beats 500 names with no scoring every time. We started with 1,815 candidates and triaged 1,020 as dead, 511 as saturated, 167 as declining. The 117 are the ones that survived.

Is this for the US market only?

Most signals are pulled from global English-language sources. Where a niche is region-specific, the description flags it. Categories like AI tooling, automation, faceless content are global by nature.
